Life of a Lion for the Week of May 20. Let's pack the stands at Runyon Field in Pueblo on Friday and Saturday for State Baseball. Graduation is on Sunday, May 26 at 2pm.

Congrats to the Swink Lions Baseball team on winning regionals today against the Peyton Panthers and qualifying for the state tournament next weekend at Runyon Field in Puelbo.

State track send off today as we wish Charlotte and Javon the best of luck this weekend at the state track meet.

Come check out the amazing art projects during the Art Show open house on May 16 from 5pm to 7pm. This will be held in the Conference Room.

Class of 2024 had a great time together on their senior trip in Colorado Springs today.

Good Morning Swink Lion Families. We are off to a great start this morning with our school day. We are operating as normal. If you are unfamiliar with our normal safety procedures, all staff carry radios, exterior doors are always locked and continually monitored throughout the day, and staff is always observing students when outside. Students and staff are in good spirits today. Thank you everyone.

Swink School will have school on Tuesday, May 14. The Sheriff's Department has determined there is no longer a threat to the school. Thank you for all of their efforts in keeping us safe.

The Otero County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the reported threat. As to not hinder their investigation, additional information will be released when it becomes available.

Swink School will not be in session on Monday, May 13, as a precautionary measure while law enforcement investigates a report of a threat being made.

We want to thank and show our appreciation to all of our Swink Lion Teachers and Staff during this Appreciation Week. They are all so awesome and appreciated for their hard work, efforts, caring attitudes, and love for our students.

Come check out the Elementary Mini Art Show on Thursday evening between 6:15 and 7:30. The north door of the classroom off the basketball court will be open. Mrs. Bickel and the students have created some awesome clay projects for your enjoyment.

On this National School Nurse Day we want to give a huge appreciation and congratulations to Nurse Stacy as she is a Nationally Certified School Nurse by the National Board of Certification of School Nurses. Very few school nurses pass or even attempt to take this exam. Congratulations to Nurse Stacy and we appreciate you all do to take care of our kids and staff.
